J’ouvert killer in court

Manager of NEDCO Tobago, Brian Mejias22 year old Kwesi Baines of Mary’s Hill appeared before Senior Magistrate Annette McKenzie, in the first Scarborough Magistrate Court to answer a charge of murder in the Jouvert morning stabbing death of 23 year old Damien Mcleod of Cedros Trinidad.

The charge was an indictable one and he was not called upon to plea. He appeared legally unrepresented, as his attorney Mr. Martin George was absent. His next court appearance will be on 4th of March. Homicide detective acting Corporal Llewelyn Taylor laid the charge.
