Having as its theme ‘Know Your Money’ the financial institution in collaboration with De La Rue Security Printers of London England, said that this seminar is held annually specifically during the carnival season, to build awareness so that people who deal with money will not become victims of unscrupulous persons. The losers the De La Rue representative said are vendors and other business persons.
Matt West, regional manager of international printers De La Rue was most informative, when he took participants through the rudiments of recognizing the difference between authentic and counterfeit bank notes. The seminar he said is time sensitive and is hopeful that Tobagonians will take the time out to be more attentive and careful.
