8 beautiful and talented ladies vied for bragging rights for a year to be the Ms. Interdepartmental Queen; while 7calypsonians offered renditions that moved the audience out of their seats. In 2nd place receiving 319 points was Marslyn Scotland from Fire Services singing “Hose”.
While the song which seemed to be the crowd favourite and which win the competition was “Town Service” by Jeremiah Combie of Port Authority. And in the Personality competition, the winner of the night who also captured Best Carnival Wear and Best Talent was Melissa Lewis of Police Services who was proudly dressed in a sassier version of a police uniform.
