Women celebrate International Day

Women celebrate International DayMonday was International Women’s Day and several organizations gave information on their services, as well as women in business gave testimonials.

The Esplanade was the home of the afternoon’s activity. Manager of NEDCO Tobago, Brian Meijas highlighted that at present, 53 percent of the loans accessed in Tobago are done by women. In this vain, Mr. Meijas explained that the main support service of his organization is financial in the form of a small loan.

Meanwhile, Senior Business Development Officer at the Business Development Company, Dedan Daniel gave an insight into the products and services offered by his affiliate. He too highlighted that the assistance is financial.

The evening climaxed with a testimonial by Miss Sharon Morris. Miss Morris is a Mt. Grace single parent farmer who in her testimonial stated that she owes it all to God.
