CEO of TT Cricket Board Condemns WIPA Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board of Control Mr. Forbes Persaud has strongly condemned the actions of the West Indies Players Association, for the current stand off between them and West Indies Cricket Board.

The debacle between the West Indies Players Association and the West Indies Cricket Board continues, as the team gets set to move into their second Test at the National Stadium in Grenada this weekend. Mr. Persaud stated that this current issue is very unfortunate and believes that some decisive action should be taken by the West Indies Cricket Board. He alluded to the fact that the issue has not occurred for the first time and says that West Indies has been suffering for a long time.

The Cricket Board CEO has called for the immediate resignation of WIPA President Dinanath Ramnarine. He believes that the Board and the WICB should sit down like responsible people and treat with the issue. He said WIPA should not hold West Indies Cricket to ransom and each party needs to put their house in order in the interest of the future of West Indies Cricket.
